Quebec City will see four Giants players take to the ice when the puck is dropped for the CHL Top Prospects game. The game gives the players a chance to compete against one-another, in a skills competition and game situation. Vancouver Giants defensive stalwart California born Jonathon Blum, along with forwards Spencer Machacek and Czech import Michal Repik, will join goaltender Tyson Sexsmith in this showcase of top NHL draft eligible talent.

The game will take place on January 17th, 2007 (7pm EST) at the Quebec Colisee Pepsi and be hosted by the 2006 Memorial Cup Champions Quebec Remparts. 40 players will be showcased for the benefit of NHL scouts looking to define their list of selections in the upcoming 2007 NHL entry draft. The skills competition and game will be broadcast nationwide on Rogers Sportsnet, and in Quebec on RDS.
