Is Neufeld still injured? If Westblom comes, then Blaine will have to go.

Chris Ray wouldn't be bad, he's also a Canucks prospect i believe so it'll give him more exposure to Vancouver fans. Plus I think Bonner will get a 20 year old come deadline since we have an open spot

if its true Neufeld would probably go the other way .. I don't see us giving up Sexsmith -- Ray IS a 20yr old

ya i know Ray is a 20 year old, that's what i meant but i just didn't phrase it well enough, haha. If we get a goalie, for sure Neufeld is moving somewhere, either part of the trade or in a separate trade.

Ray would be a good pick up because he can easily fit into a "Don Hay" style system. However, I don't think there is much of a need for Westblom. Goaltending isn't an issue for the team. Acquiring another center and defenseman, IMO is what the team really needs. Ray would take care of one hole, now finding a defenseman that isn't an overager will be a more difficult task. Matthew McCue was a perfect fit but unfortunately that didn't work out.

Well I guess with the arrival of Wacey, Ray is out of the picture now.
