RE: NFL

My predictions:

Colts vs Ravens - lets hope Manning won't choke...
Eagles vs Saints - i like both teams but I like New Orleans more. I'm a big fan of Drew Brees and I love this feel good story team, after what the city went through, wouldn't it be awesome for them to win it all??
Seahawks vs Bears - tough call. I also like both teams but its a matter of which Grossman will show up. It'll be a battle of Hasselback and Alexander vs Bear's defense.
Patriots vs Chargers - ya, Brady is awesome. Pats are my second fav team after Chiefs. Once again...dynasty Big Grin

RE: NFL

Well, I don't want to be cocky (or maybe I do?) but before the season started I predicted a Colts vs Bears superbowl.

RE: NFL

So new season, no Michael Vick, who's going to do what this year? I haven't been a fan since Emmitt Smith was dominating and Terrell Owens was a dick. Okay, T.O. is still a dick, but I've missed the entire career of L.T., that guy is incredible to watch.

RE: NFL

yeah not so up on the NFL either .. need "johnny - the snake" (known here as T.G.H! ^ see above) to come by and give us the lowdown

I don't understand why sportsnet is not showing the Seahawks game here though, maybe its already going to be a local channel and they didn't want to duplicate -- who wants to see Dallas vs Miami .. ugh

RE: NFL

So far I just want to watch the Pats play against the Colts, not even Ben Doublecheeseburger has a chance in defeating these two teams. I'm 70% sure the Pats are going to win.

In the NFC, I have a feeling the Bears will have a huge comeback. I don't see the Packers (they are not able to run the ball) or the Cowboys (I don't see Romo as a QB that can survive pressure) as superbowl contenders. The Seahawks, nah...

By the way, back in August I predicted the superbowl to be: Pats vs the Eagles (damn, why the hell did I chose the Eagles?)

Seahawks have a shot -- I'd love to see them step it up this season and make something happen.
